WHAT IS A SAFETY GROUP?
A safety group is the pooling of similar businesses or interests (such as racquet and health clubs) and using the combined experience of the group to determine amounts that may be available for dividends.

HOW DO YOU SAVE?
First, racquet sports, health and fitness clubs historically have a better loss experience record than other businesses that are grouped in similar workers compensation risk categories. This means that a competitive initial premium can be offered for coverage.

Second, members of the program are eligible to earn dividends based on the overall combined loss experience of the group; and again, with the historical loss experience of this program’s participants, there is the potential for dividends that then result in a lower net cost for insurance coverage.

Dividends are declared and paid after final payroll audits are completed and program losses are evaluated by Wausau. Declared dividends are paid to Creative Agency Group, the Program’s administrator, pursuant to a participating policyholder’s assignment of its dividend, and then such dividends are distributed to Program members by the administrator.

HOW DO YOU JOIN?
To join, complete and sign the enclosed application. Applications are processed immediately. You will receive a premium quotation or coverage proposal via phone or mail.

PREMIUM FINANCING?
Upon being issued a workers compensation policy, you will be billed by Wausau Insurance Companies for a 25 percent down payment and then for nine monthly installments, starting the second month your coverage is effective. (There is no interest charged on the unpaid balances under these payment plans.) Bi monthly and/or quarterly payments are also an option.

ONCE YOU RECEIVE YOUR POLICY
As a Wausau policyholder, you will receive online access to loss prevention publications and tools. These publications and tools provide principals, goals and risk management techniques to assist you in controlling your risk of loss.
